I have beening following Mr. Moogs problems since i frst heard of them from the Moog forums.... I wished for the best, but apparently my wishes were not enough. He will not be with us much longer. This man has touched each and every one of us in some manner or another.. His instruments have played a integral part in making the synthesizer a musicians instrument and giving everyone the ability to afford one.

bob moog was an alum of my high school and i remember my science technology lab teacher (our version of 'shop') motivating us by telling of how the minimoog synth had its origins as a lab project for that particular class...
much respect to a true innovator. |

| Please everyone wish the best for his family. I know personaly how hard it is both my grandmother and grandfather both of whom i was very close to had cancer related deaths.. It is a horrible thing to watch a great person deteriorate into shells of human beings. And the pain they go through is horrible... We can only wish his last moments with his family are good ones... |

| Thanks to John, over the past year I have come to appreciate the gifts that people like Bob Moog have given to "our music"... my best wishes... it must be great to be loved by thousands and thousands of people, by the way. It is not a bad life to lead, but of course it is a bad end. Our thoughts maybe make it a little bit better................. I hope. |
