Great tracks, Top Gear is the better of the two but Opus 17 is still great |

| Yeah Top Gear's a good 'un... it's the kinda 'standard' tech trance I usually skim over but can work really well in a set if played at the right time |

| I actually prefer Opus 17 over Top Gear. Im not a big fan of Top Gear. Rank 1 are doing some new sounds in thier productions which is always good. I'll give Opus 17 a 7.5/10. Top Gear a 5/10. |

| It all comes down to Top Gear which is unique and good, and Opus 17 which is alright, but forgettable. |

| Listened to Opus 17 and it was really good, top gear also sounds good too. i like that rank 1 are doing something different instead of the old usual melodic stuff they used to do. |

I appreciate that they try some new sounds, but I must say I really dislike Top Gear.
Opus 17 however, is a good one imo. If they keep going that sound (harder techy stuff), I sure hope they'll keep using such beautiful classical pieces/symphonys.
And yes, I agree with Top Gear being their worst production ever. |

| Top Gear was just noise to me the first time I heard it on ASOT, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. It would be great on the dancefloor, not so much just to listen to straight up. |

i've gone off top gear a bit since first hearing it to be honest, doubt i'll be purchasing it now. i like the ed up sounds in it and it's overall fresh/innovative nature, but it just seems to lack drive to it (no pun intended) or energy. it's still a downright cool piece of music though. needs a pvd rework :p
opus 17 is mehh... nice but nothing special. |
