I think I'll be alright. WMC the past two years has given me a pretty good idea of what to expect from large parties like this. ;) So can anyone give me any ideas for shopping, food, any help would be much appreciated. :)

^^^ if you're going to be in the downtown area you can't go two feet without finding either a store or a resturant so you really don't need much by way of tips in that department. That said, if you're looking for decent places to eat at a'ight prices then King Street between John and Spadina is the area to check out. Lots of nice little trendy bistros with good food for decent prices.

My friends all want to check out bars that don't play dance music on sat(I'm already regretting bringing them). Any reccomendations?
Hot Shot

Addy, Dekoze, Manzone & Strong, Vinyl Junkies...

name a cuisine and price point and i'll give you a restaurant

for shopping depends on what they want

bay/bloor for high end stuff (but there is some reasonably priced stuff as well)
eaton's centre for standard mall fare
Queen st for street wear etc
there are other good places to shop, but no other areas that are really concentrated for shopping as the above.

We’re looking for Canadian cuisine and possibly authentic Chinese food if possible. Honestly the less expensive the better if that helps out at all. Our hotel is fairly close to The Guv, are there any areas close by for shopping?

I can't think of many restaurants that serve beer and back bacon.

You might find a place that serves Moose Burgers....they are really good.
