I can't believe no one else has started this yet!!
Ok first off..
OMG MARK OLIVER DROPPED WASHING MACHINE I DIEEEE:eek:
Being from the Hamilton area, you would have thought I'd been to Lush before - Hamilton's only after-hours establishment. Well no, I hadn't. From being used to Mark @ Viva and Guv, this was a much more intimate establishment for his set.
I got there around 11. "Are you on the guestlist?" "Uhmmm yeah, I think so...Laur..." "Oh yeah we spoke earlier today, I just need to grab you a ticket." (Uhmmm, no we didn't) But I'm trying that one everywhere now! :D
The set wasn't as hard as Guv, but I don't think it would have suited the patronage/establishment anyways. Kind of a housey feel almost. Thought the tunes were FANTASTIC.
Great seeing everyone as per usual. Andrea, finally got the proper introduction - 'bout time! I think we finally got all the Hamilton TAs at one event last night hehe. I hope for that sake that Lush brings in the same calibre of talent more often.

i dont find smaller venues and their crowds to usually be suited for trance or hard techno. Smaller space = more intimate vibe of house. |
