To me, it sounds too thin to be V-Station. Anyway, the melody is garbage, hehe. :tongue2

Seriously... who cares?

buncha s on the forum... yea dude that's what trance sounds like... i think its a kick ass melody and whatever synth he used is in awsome, what do you expect, want him to throw in a bass guitar and some screaming, and we can rename the site to heavymEtaladdict.com
KilldaDJ
sounds like a custom superwave p8 patch with possible EQ/chorus on the FX

Whatever it is, it sounds really bad. :p

As a counter-point, listen to this... a masterpiece of a synth if I may say so myself.

For the record its Reason 3 with 8 Subtractors then sending them to bus 1 with 3 unison all going into back into the remaining 6 channels in the main mixer. all tuning up is on the left channel and all tuning down is on the right channel. This makes for a very wide sound. I also have 2 filters, one to remove some of the hiss from the subtractors. the other to filter down the delay. I have a master EQ to brighten it up and then a reverb, compressor, and another EQ to finish it off. I am still working on it to sound thicker so I can use it in a track.

Never used Reason but it sounds so complicated to create such a standard sound! V-Station is much easier to program and sounds much better imo!

It sounds great. download the combinator patch in my other recent topic and see for yourself.

Here is something I knocked up sometime ago, hopefully I am using V-Station to its max potential! Used various FL in-house generators, reverb, chorus and eq etc!

The melo is Icone 'Astra'

Be interesting to see what ppl think!
