Selling Livesets on Ebay

Hi there!

I was looking @ Ebay for some vinyls... and I stumbled over an offer for 8 hours of livesets - the sets can be selected from a list.

Here's the link:

e-bay link

Isn't this illegal? I'm collecting sets too, and I don't mind to trade - but selling sets is bad for the music industry and for the community either. If everybody would start to sell sets - why should others buy expensive albums of the artists? If the artists don't sell albums - the music industry will be mad... If the music industry is mad - who knows what they do about this?

Any comments?

Not to mention lame.

What's sad, this guy will probably make money doing this.

so lame selling and profiting from others work.
retrobyte
very illegal, and VERY frowned upon in the trance/edm community. :whip:

does ebay normally stop this type of thing?

They've been known to close certian things. However, I'm sure this auction would close by the time they get to it. :x

Yes, you find a few odd things, disturbing and illegal things appear on eBay. Do you report them? Is it not in the interests of everyone that anything illegal on eBay, whether babies or DJ mixes is reported to eBay so they can take action, both in shutting down said illegal auction and improving their detection techniques to prevent them appearing in the first place?

Or are you the seller trying to divert attention from the fact that you yourself are acting illegally?

I'd report it myself having seen it, but cleverly the seller is selling on the German site. I can't read/speak more than hugely basic 'hello/goodbye' German so I can't read the process (and having never done it on the English site I wouldn't have a basic idea of what's required and what it looks like, either).

You rogue, you.
