don't blame Google Maps or Mapquest... blame stupid Tyrolean village and their dumb cottage numbering (if I had known the green plate #, I wouldn't have had a problem finding the place)
Anyways, the whole weekend was awesome! Great meeting some of the newer TAs (not many of the old Viva 2002-03 days people....). Was soooo happy I was able to hammer out another set on Saturday night, even tho it was upstairs. Always great to have people dancing and rocking out during my set... too bad the volume had to be turned down right when everyone was rocking out to Yimanya. And speaking of rocking out, I wanna send a very special thanks to Jaime for being a nonstop party animal, a loyal supporter of his fellow Collingwood DJs and an all-around good guy! Cheers man!
Saturday night was just offf the hook. Moving downstairs was the best thing to happen the whole party. Nate and I wish we were down there on Friday night, because the flooring upstairs was driving us nuts. Drew threw down a wicked freakin' set. Shivers was the high point of my night - what a massive remix! Drew, it is always a pleasure partying with you, and Dani is an uber-cool chica! We remember each other from Destiny 49 @ The Docks, but we never met formally. She knows how to rock and support her man when he's behind the decks! Cheers to you and cheers to Dani!
I think everyone needs to thank my partner in crime Nathan for setting up the Dj booth upstairs, donating his decks for Friday night (and he donated them for Saturday night if Gamma couldn't make it), and donating his mixer for the whole weekend. No Nathan would mean no beats - cheers!
Andrea! I think Jaime has already done you justice with the thank yous, but I have to extend one more because I spotted you rocking out during my sets all weekend long! Thank you for making me feel appreciated as the Dj!

Margs: always good seeing you. Maybe a 'hello' before you ask me to take my clothes off?
Ray: you are a monster behind the decks and I really appreciate the things we talked about with regards to DJing. Our low-volume sunrise battle downstairs on Sunday morning was one of the highlights of my weekend. Send me those sets biatch!

Nada & Ali: Good job on pulling off an awesome party! And thanks for picking me up at Monsoon! Once again, sorry about Kevin showing up with the sketchpads. Good job kicking them out... they weren't gonna fit in well.

Also, while I rj is on the topic of missing beer, I hope someone enjoyed my Mooseheads :D I would like to thank Vertigo, Nathan, Aaron, Drew and Nada for alki donations throughout the weekend!
I would like to sum up part one of my review but commenting on the Sunday night party at Motorcycle. ING AWESOME! Completely off the hook. Was THE best night of the whole weekend for me and Nathan. Special thanks to Drew for coming out and playing some sick trance for us. Can't wait to see all those pics! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to be 72-hour party people! |

Well if we can all do what we did this past weekend and have a good time, mind the need to judge others and survive massive partying without casualty - it wont be quite the same (that is true Jamie) nothing will TOP this weekend.......for a long time.........but I do look forward to 2 weeks time for the BBQ/GUV weekend for the Labor Day Holiday.

I love just reading whut ppl are saying here.. the random comments are just as good as the reviews.
What a bonding weekend. Such a good group collectiveness! The comment about the TA dinner, all of us sitting down together to eat as a "family"... omg! How much fun was that!
You guys rock! YOu guys are all top-notch!
Words always fall short when trying to describe to my non-EDM friends whut these parties and these ppl are like.
You all surpass words. Thank you.

I cannot agree more.
Other than a few moments of entropy - everybody (amazingly) "held it down" very well. The whole posse should be congratulated for playing safe, keeping it sane and rockin' it out!
I can easily conclude: Good people are good people. Surround yourself with such and good times are guaranteed.

anyone remember chilling on the deck and hearing bag pipes?? a few people looked confused with a look like "am i hearing things?" and trying to listen harder, then realizing YEAH! they are trying to drive us away!
then i remember a bee attacked someone, that person screamed and ran away, then it went after another person, they booked, then it came towards me, i ducked, then said screw this and went inside lol!!
RJs quote when the bee goes near the beer can on the edge of the deck "just let it drink the rest of the beer, then it will chill out and love everything" something close to that, either way hilarious hahaha |

well said my friend! I felt no discomfort whatsoever with any TA's or non, other than the sketchy ppl that showed up on two separate time slots whom i politely kicked out lol...keep those posts coming guys...I wanna hear what else was goin on!!!

She was ripping it up with us SUnday night supporting the music and Drew, a ing phenominal guy and DJ! Sorry Dani, I forgot to ask you at Motorcycle how your hand was! I hope it's okay!!
