"Necrophagy" is spooky. Lots of drive from the bass. Cool break @1:20. The gate at 2:00 doesnt sound so good, because it's a vanguard preset. At 3:00 things get cool again. Nice hard Darkpsy synths. All in all the tune should sound more homogenous.
"Bandar Vann" is much better. Damn great intro. Nice kick+bass combo. Great FX all the way. The tune sounds very original and I didnt get bored at one point. Production sounds very solid too. Except that the snare could get a little "wetter". Boost the higher and cut the lower frequencies of it. Oh, I love the synthwork at 5:15. Awesome!
"Phat of My Lund" ... A cover version of a Prodigy's song? Not really. But it's far better than Skazi's mutilation of Prodigy's "Out of Space" (awful crap if you ask me). :D ... 1:00 - great. Reminds me actually of the Russian(?) Psy artist Terminator, one of my faves. You should watch your higher frequencies which get a little too harsh. Otherwise, wicked tune.

Vocalisations in Necrophagy are cool.
Phat of my Lund is better than Necrophagy IMO. The low end is much better done. Cybernetika doesn't like the high frequencies, but I like them; they add a glitch/experimental aesthetic to the track. 3:50 is really cool. I liked the siren sound before 6:00.
Nice VG-like sounds in Bandar Vann's intro. Nice sound at 2:53. |
