theres stuff about it in the MD forum

heres the quote of the century:

"Anytime there is a rave party there's gonna be drugs," Gustman said. "If anybody was to tell you that there is a rave party without drugs, they are lying."

Go to the site whatreallyhappened.com and click on the article about the Utah rave. There is some video shot there you can view. I have been told the invading law enforcement were not local cops. Bush is going to be visiting Utah very soon as a part of his new campain to draw support for Iraq. The rumor is they were worried the rave was going to organize support for anti-Bush protestors.

oh my fookin god... where's all the logic behind this?
wOOt0832
It goes back to the 60s and the US government's COINTELPRO operation. Undercover gov. agents found that many rock bands and concerts often carried a strong anti-Vietnam war message, which spread the ideology and helped gain more support for the peace movement.

wow...even less logic..because seriously... are we still in the 60's? i think we have learned a few things here and there...but most of all.... since when do we hold party's out in the mountains when promoters spend $$$$ against anti-iraq? ok... lil far fetched... but i can see what you're saying :)
wOOt0832
I didn't start the rumor. I don't find it very logical either. I know there's been trouble on that block of land before. There was a raid their once prior.

I hate to say this, but it's not just Utah. This could have just as easily have happened in Kansas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania or Alaska. It is sad, but pretty much anywhere out of the major cities, this would be probably be found, especially in the red states.
