Advice Wanted On Produce Sonic Textures BT Style? (Sample Included)

Okay, so in BT's earlier dance days, such as remixing "Grace - It's Not Over Yet" And producing the sublime classic "Flaming June" an amazing sound is used, now I am not sure what the hell it is, it sounds like a filtered sine wave acid line style sorta thing. Sample is below, you'll know what sound it is, its gorgeous and I'm interested to try and recreate this sound, sadly I aint managed it yet, TS404 has provided with some sorta resemblence, but not terribly impressive ones.

high pass filtered in addition to the built in lpf and resonance being tweaked
heavy delay on it
Eqed to death
Has some glide on it to give the smoothness.
Its the delay and 'verb on it that gives the sound a sense of space- not the sound itself.
Worth noting that BT is very very very specific with things- and nano quantizes everything. Perfectionist is not the word |

Aye I know, but this was from way back when he didn't use all the nana correction stuff.
It really does pay to take your time though, his tunes are simply amazing, wonder how much input PVD had on this tune?

I don't have v-station, so can you tell me what you have done to achieve this?

| Not sure we're talking about the same thing but you might be interested to know that BT's done an atmospheres-type sample CD called 'Twisted Textures' (published by EastWest). I own it and it's been very useful in the past. :) |
