I got an owl in my yard
And i'm here to say
It's the hootinest owl in the USA

He only has three sharp toes
That he uses to climb up my walls
His eyes the size of ping pong balls
Wings so wide and feathers so firm
I dug in the ground and fed him a worm
He seemed to like it, i'll tell you that
Because he flew at me and stole my hat!
Saying "ooo oo oo, give me more food!"
Why, Mr. Owl, how utterly rude!
"Return my cap right this instant!
And i'll nourish you like a newborn infant"
Waddling close with hat in beak
He bowed to me and looked so bleak
It's okay Owl, my feathered friend
You were only hungry, in the end!
I ganna turn that in to my teecher for xtra credit and a gold star! |

| that is SO cool! it's weird to see an owl in the day though. i saw one on the lawn at work a few weeks ago (at night). it was so neat! it was just standing there and then i hooted and it flew away. i didnt know you could domesticate them. that makes me want one... |
