Hello...
I have a Roland MC 303 that i want to plugg in to my computer, and now i wounder if there is someone here that know's what cable i need?
and if there is a normal place on the computer to plugg it in or if i need some extra equipment.. what kind i don't know, but i think it would be enogh with a cable... or? |

| go to a shop (radioshack?) and find something that has 2 mono jacks on one side and one stereo 1/4 jack on the other side, if you need to, use converter plugs. Plug that into your soundcards aux in. |

Well what do you mean by "plug it into the computer" ...
If you only want to record off it, then you can simply connect it with a RCA -> 3.5 mm cable ...
If you want to control it through Cubase or some other sequencer program, you need to connect it through MIDI interface, which is somewhat tricky especially with the Roland MC-303. If you don't have any other MIDI hardware besides a standard consumer soundcard, you'll need a 15 pin Joystick Port -> MIDI 5 pin cable. You might want to check your manual for details. |
