I started listening to trance earlier this year. Going from having Paul Van Dyk's Out There and Back being my absolute favorite CD to a month later investing in a set of turntables and a mixer and diving straight into the wonderfull world of vinyl I never got to enjoy the older stuff. (I'm still pissed off at the world for not letting me discover this sound earlier than I did, but it's so hard to be angry when your indulging in the sound of a good trance track! It's kinda like bliss on tap!) Actually, about 2 months into my DJ career I kinda got pissed not being able to find any good trance tunes so I switched up genre's. I went to Hard House and then later to Happy Hardcore. I kinda dropped Hard House all together but I still proudly spin Happy Hardcore despite everybody and their mother hating it! Thanks to a couple people and this site I know a lot of great places to score the best new trance singles and I'm back in full swing being a full time trance-a-holic!!! All I gotta say is I'm jealous of all you lucky b@stards that got into trance back in 98 and earlier!
By the way, I love your avatar, I haven't seen anything related to Chronotrigger in a looonnnngggg time!! That game kicks all @ss!! Ok, I'm gonna shut up now, sorry for rambling if you actually read all that! :D Thanks again Suzaku!!! |

Heh no problem, that's what these forums are for, nice to know I'm helping to convert you back to trance. Good eye there on my avatar, not to many people recognize Magus from Chrono Trigger, probably one of my favorite RPG's of all time! |
