That's the population for the entire state of Nevada. In the latest census numbers that I can find, Vegas' has 478,434 people. And 1.2 million in all of Clark County.
In the latest census there are 758,578 people in all of Nevada that are between 20 and 44 (320,000 of that of them being 35-44 alone...and that age group of the groups I'm using is probably going to have by far the smallest percentage of attendees)....I'll be nice and use that number as possible candidates LOCAL who can go to TiC. Let's now add the 300,000 people who go to Vegas for NYE....
So that's 1.05 million people. So for the 9,000 person event to sell out, 1 out of 118 would have to go to TiC. The odds of that happening are extremely slim. Getting any near close to that is extremely slim as well.
Yes I'm a bitch but I'm a complete statistics and odds (when it comes to business) nut. One of the things I studied in school. Yeah, it could do well and sell out...but a big risk is being taken as the odds are way against it happening. |

| Add the fact that PVD is playing before, and possibly someone like Halliwel playing the after hours and maybe someone like Digweed playing Day 1 (only if he wants to) definetely raises the odds of selling out the TIC show. I can assume that Tijis fans will be flying in from all over the world for this as Vegas is an appealing destination for NYE with or with out EDM. |
