How is the scen over there?
I went to a rave 2 years ago in Cordoba, Argentina ...it was OK not the best I've done but I really enjoyed it.
I know that in Buenos Aires they have good parties, often with big djs. I really want to know more!

What about the rest of Latin America? Any known trance djs?
The Master
Here in Colombia the scene is just starting, everyone calls "techno" every kind of electronic music; dance, techno, trance, house, all is "techno".

Famous DJs? Well Mauro Picotto, Mario Piu, and 3 weeks ago Paul Oakenfold came to the capital. The media was amazed, everyone was saying the best DJ in the world came to our country. Oakenfold set was great and in fact it was the best party ever done in town. However I hope to see someday Tiesto or Paul van Dyk spinning here.
Trance-Canada
ok then...
Gaby
But do you have any trance clubs?
The Master
Well not trance but "Techno". There is only one dedicated specially to raves around here, it is called The Castle and is a big castle located about 5 miles from Bogota where each week there is nothing but a bunch of local DJs spinning cheese and more cheese.
Oh , Tiesto please come here!!!!!!!!!!

Well......I guess I am tho one to say that the best Latin America's trance scene is in Mexico....
Here is the list (all I can remember right now):
Oakenfold, van Dyk, Tenaglia, Sasha, Fontaine, Graham, Ralph, Digweed, Seaman, Emerson, Lawrence, Green Velvet, Deep Dish, Kleinenberg, Daniels, Pappa, Cass, Morales, Infected Mushroom, Kox Box, Cosmosis, van Helden, 'Choo Choo' Romero, Piu, Tall Paul, Jules, Keoki, Warren, Maas, Fatboy, Groove Armada, Dan, Hawtin, Goldie, Wink, Art Of Trance, & I can't remember more (surely there are a lots more!!!).
Talkin' about clubs u can come to Acapulco's Paladium, Cancun's La Boom, Mexico City Danzoo, La Boom,....

....But I'm beggin' for Ferry, Armin & Gielen......(damn !!!!!)
...also for Piccotto, Marco V & Tiësto........

Besides here in Mexico the scene is strong with national dj's like Klang & Martin Parra (both of them have played at the Love Parade), Irwin Purple, Ramiro Puente, and of course, Bostich & Fussible with the world famous sound: Nortec. Chek it out!!! :p :p :p

Mexico has better trance/house scene than we have in Sweden!

Argentina:
I'm not a good "user" of the Argentinian Trance Scene (i live in Chubut, far away from Buenos Aires), but i can tell there is a lot of people who like techno, trance, house, etc.
Maybe is the 3rd force of music in the country, after rock and latin music.
The scene is really really good. The "star Djs" come to Argentina continuously, theres a lot of radio station, clubs and magazines dance-dedicated.
The national djs Dj Dero and Hernan Cattaneo maybe are the Argentina international reference, they spin in the Loveparade and all around the world.
