Underoath are great, took me a bit of getting into to get used to the amount of screaming but that aside, they're quality.
And Coldplay... meh. I liked The Scientist. And Clocks had its good bits, which people like G&D and Marco V took and made into amazing tunes. But other than that I find them boring as hell, and his voice annoying.
Keane are slightly better. To me their stuff's not so brilliant that it grabs your attention much, but it's pleasant enough not to annoy me (unlike some acts who're just too bland for their own good) Same goes for Snow Patrol.
Someone mentioned The Killers too. Mr Brightside and Somebody Told Me are great songs, and one could be forgiven for expecting the rest of the album to live up to that, shame it's actually filled with boring indie tracks that just sound like everything else and these 2 tracks are the only good ones. |
