| At the Duck in the Walden Inn. Its from 8-11. This is kind of a trial event. If they feel like a decent amount of people show up then it will be a weekly or bi-weekly event. If that does happen which we are hoping is the case, we will def have you come out and play. :gsmile: :gsmile: :gsmile: :gsmile: |

I am in a darker progressive house phase right now. However, I also play melodic progressive trance, hard trance, and techelectro house. |

Have you approached the Depauw folks about playing outside there by the fountain? That would be cool on a football saturday. |

| yeah, i remember seeing you at Blank and Jones. I'm trying to get Jarrod to come to more shows aswell. Oct/Nov = Judge Jules, PVD, Tiesto, Picotto, G&D, Boy George, Blank and Jones (again) and armin, should be a good fall. |

PVD in Chicago right? Hmm can’t wait for that. And where for Gabriel & Dresden? Detroit? Ya B&J was a good show. You should get Jared out. You still DJ at 6 downtown? I think the last time I was there was the night that Jared turned literally white and asked you if he could sleep in your car while we were all eating breakfast.
Regardless, I’m interested to know how the scene at 6 has held up. |

As the DJ of "6" i should really be promoting it as a cool place to hang out and listen to good music but.....
...It still is a good place to hang out and i think beats most of the places downtown, but the music appears to be a big problem. The owner hates "Techno" and thats all i play. I got hired for house music and played that during the openings, but now, i get requests like this 3 or 4 times a night. "Hey, can you play Golddigger by Kanye West". Give me a ing break! The place has changed a little because people are now coming in expecting to hear hip hop, top 40, disco/funk, rock, 80s....stuff you would hear at Have a Nice Day Cafe (because thats where the owner originated from), so now, even if i sneak in a remix of coldplays speed of sound, or some harder tracks, the 'drunk' owner freaks out, kicks me off, mixes in Usher's - Yeah, and starts to sing along with Kareoke. Its very sad in my mind, but i'm still sticking with it, because i'm only there to pay off school. Hey, i get to walk around and drink for free and still get paid for it! :-) On the lighter side of things when he is not there, i can get away with it, and on some very rare nights you might here some 'Lethal Industry' etc. So its a lottery if you come in, but worth it because all of these events in chicago will be popping up very very soon :-)
