the word has to be at least 5 letters long, however is not limited to. the idea is to take the first, third and last letter of the word given above and create a new word. for every letter you use beyond the intitial three you get a point, illustrated in the example:

x: insight
__________
y: (i,s,t)|fascist
4 points.
you're responsible for keeping track of your own points. you can't have two turns in a row (using your own word.)
i don't know if this is too complicated but eh, it might entertain some.
