| What's really sad is that Crazy Frog was voted the number one tune for like, two weeks on the local "Dance Music" (I quote it for a reason) station. |

...And to think Voodoo of Voodoo & Serano was behind this, along with Henning Raith from Bass Bumpers. Shame on them.
You wonder how I know this?
Go to http://www.discogs.com/artist/Reinhard+Raith and see what it says on the "In Groups" tag of his profile.

review on discogs:
Crazy Frog is the generation gap personified. Twelve-year-olds have gone gaga over the mentally ill animated amphibian with the pixellated and his ringtone renderings of re-heated synth classics, while their parents are driven to distraction by the gurning little bastard and his helium jabberings. The antagonism is compounded by the fact that the parents generally have no clue what a ringtone is for, how to download one, or how, indeed, to prevent their young children accessing websites showing German people having conjugal relations with animals more traditionally used in dairy farming.
I think Crazy Frog is fantastic, for two reasons: 1) it supplies us with final proof, as if any were needed, that the pop charts are a joke; and 2) "Axel F" kept bedwetting kings of mediocrity Coldplay's "Speed Of Sound" off the number one spot in the UK, and for this reason alone, froggy deserves a knighthood.
But say "ding ding" to me one more time and you'll find yourself buried in a shallow grave somewhere outside Caister-on-Sea.

Crazy frog sucks ....
I live downtown so it's usually really loud and wakes me up in the morning sometimes when people are blasting music in their cars.
Yesterday I woke up to the suicidal sounds of crazy frog.
I wasn't exactly pleased.
Alternatively let's all agreee to say that Britain can surely put some rubbish music on the market :p |
