I met Tommy Lee last night @ Mötley Crüe Concert

My brother is in town from Hollywoo. Last week I mentioned to him that there was a Mötley Crüe concert at the Molson Amphitheatre on Tuesday August 23. He had no idea - but got on the horn and arranged us tickets/backstage for the show.
We arrived a little late due to not being able to find parking near by - but were in our seats for the 8:30 Mötley Crüe start time (Sum41 opened up, but we missed them).
After the concert we proceeded backstage to Tommy's dressing room. My brother introduced us to Tommy (still wearing his concert makeup and outfit) and the lead singer of Sum41 who was also in the room relaxing w/ Tommy. After about 30 minutes of having a drink and shoottin' the with Tommy and my brother - we hinted that it was time for us to go - to which Tommy encouraged us to hang around and party for the rest of the night as the "craziness was soon about to begin" (apparently the night prior Tommy was at The Docks for the Cheap Trick concert and ended up going pretty late... ;)). Due to the fact I had driven my own ass to the concert and that I would have to drive home - I politely declined the offer to stay and party (however I would have loved to! Next time damnit!) and we said our farewells. My brother and Tommy made some plans to meet up Monday in LA (to prepare for the Jimmy Kimmel show) and we were off. On our way out we met the bassist for Sum41 as well. Unfortunately I did not meet any of the other Mötley Crüe members.
Tommy was unbelievably nice and down to earth. I was surprised to see how surprised he was to see my brother and how welcoming/inviting he was to me. Top-notch dude - no attitude, only good vibes.

(Side note: It is difficult to take photos/videos at a concert. Between the darkness, security and camera's difficulty auto-focusing with all the movement out of 100 photos only 15 or so are of reasonable enough quality for me to share) |

sidenote: i was on the grounds outside the concert last night and saw 2 dudes ODing on who knows what and taken away by ambulance. I guess this stuff happens at rock concerts too eh?

We were talking to one of the stage security guys and he said that some dood tried to hop up on the stage, but slipped off and fell - cracking his head open. Perhaps that was it. |

No the one dude i saw was actually puking outside the grounds and twitching. The paramedics were asking his buddies "what substances he had ingested"
I dont know why the other guy was taken away but he also had puke all over him. |

BTW - anybody know how to rotate videos?
Being the f'ing amateur photo-guy I am (new camera, give me a break) half of the videos are upside down or sideways... :rolleyes: |

Im pretty sure VirtualDub(a free video editing program) will do it. The only problem is, it will probably make you re-encode the video, so no good. |
