god damn the 956 was such a sweet racer, and i think a lot of its technology made its way into the 959.
Ofcourse i was tlking about production cars, when i stated the record, not fair talk about prototype racers!
where did you find the info anyways, i was looking for it? |

Zonda is a freaking amazing car. Don't they use Lambo engines?
lol, I love that warning sticker :D
They're all good and beautiful and whatever, but they're still not a McLaren F1. |

haha no competition, considering Bugatti is still yet to deliver a single car to a customer. Last i heard, they were still trying to work out the aero to make it stable at its claimed top speed.
I think the Zonda uses a twin turbo(supercharged?) V10 |

Both the Zonda and Veyron don't hold a candle to the Enzo/FXX or the Atom on a track.
HOWEVER, that MC12 is something else... Based on the Enzo, same power and all that, but heavier... Top Gear tested it as being FASTER than the Enzo around their track.
Oh, and all flavours of the Pagani Zonda (C12, C12S, F) use a naturally aspirated Mercedes-Benz AMG 7.3L V12. |

...and the Atom or a Radical SR4 would still eat it alive on a racetrack :) |

pretty much.
No road car is going to beat these little cars on the track. even the mighty Mclf1 is pretty slow around a track, due to low downforce and terrible oversteer. |
