Hi,
I use soundforge 6.0 to record my mixes. How can i use the program to edit/ compress my mixes to sound alot cleaner?? I ahve wondered this for ages but havnt been able to find how to do it on the program myself. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

umm... compressing does not make your sound any better or "cleaner" in fact it does exactly what it says on the tin. it compresses the file size and thus reduces the quality.

record with a better sound card and at a higher quality.

nothing will take away static etc etc... but if it is high quality i like to enhace +1 on sound forge then normalize it all to 0 db
