I guess it really depends on what exactly the company is looking for.
In my case they needed someone with good computer skills (excel, word, powerpoint)...
They usually prefer someone to have a degree but it's not always necessary as in my case. |

Sure is!
A stunt dick is used when the star isn't being shown.... it allows the scene to continue in a fluid manner while allowing the star to sort of "tag out" (for lack of a better term) and calm down.... so he doesn't finish too soon. Additionally, stunt dicks will be used for shots that the male star either cannot or will not do (like if the guy has weak ejaculate... time for a stunt dick). |

as a QAA (Quality Assurance Administrator, or in some companies Quality Administrative Assistant) I really do jack (sorta).
My main duties include: a)entering quality related data into a database (some databases I made/maintain myself, while others are taken care of by IT) and b)generating reports from the data gathered
Other duties that I've been asked to do: order supplies for the department when/if needed, visit suppliers every so often to make sure everything is running smoothly/on-time and other misc stuff as it arises.
My buddy is an "office administrator", all he does is order supplies for all the departments (ie. I'd send my department's order to him, he'd order from appropriate suppliers), some data entry, helps out with corporate commissions and other misc stuff as it comes up. |

Honestly not all these types of jobs are gloryless. The Office Manager (COO) of my father's law firm, while being subordinate to all the lawyers and their needs, has a salary higher than a lot of the lawyers (low six figures) and a nice corner office. She's the lady that makes sure the day to day tedium gets done. Not to mention she has two other managers (the HR manager and the Security Manager) work for her as well. Note: I've seen the Securities manager push a giant garbage can while following the HR (Human Resources) manager around like a puppy. It's quite funny. What's funnier is that all of them (including the Information Services manager) are women. Oh and the outsourced copy center staff manager works for her too. But again regardless of salary, experience, eternity of years working there, she still has to cater to the lawyers.
What I'd really like to know is what the hell my job is. Title: External Event Coordinator |
