Really good track! :)
Wanna do a track with me? I'm at about the same production level.
Just PM me, and I'll send you some of my stuff.
What sequencer do you use? I'm guessing FL. |

Great opening (reverse cymbals excepted), percussion is nice and energetic.
I also like the introduction of the main lead before the break.
During the break it switches to "classic strings" didn't expect that ... but it works .
Introduction of the bassline during the Break isn't "massive" enough for my taste ;) (e.g."Delerium_Innocente_-_Tiesto Mix" ...yeah yeah yeah ... Tiesto, i know) ... but the lead is probably taking up to much headroom.
Melody is what i call real trance, as always from ROMi.
All in all, I LIKE IT ! |

upon listening many times i would say this track is very good indeed and ready for release but i agree with groundzero that the bass that comes in during the break isnt quite grabbing enough. it sounds perfect but maybe you could use a different bass sound thats less obvious?
however even after nit-picking, i would recon you have a viable track for release on a big label... |

Killer track here. The buildup is perfect, the bass worked well.
Sure the bass in the buildup could have been improved a tad, but this is really good.
As a matter of fact - the leads and motif of the whole track remind me a little too much of Ferry Corsten's "Sublime (Thrillseekers Remix)" for comfort - but take that as a real compliment anyways. I was just listening to that today - shudders. |

Good tune, musically all there - nice melodies, pretty standard but effective layout.
Production is clean and pro-sounding, although not incredibly intricate - although that doesn't really detract from the quality of the track (I just tend to prefer really intricate production :p)
Only got a couple of thoughts - firstly, in the main break where the strings come in at 2:11 I think you could either do with more layers of strings to make it sound like a full orchestral job, really grab the atmosphere, or instead maybe put in some sweeping atmospheric kind of sounds to 'give it a bit more' if you know what I mean, keep it interesting.
Also, the perc in the main section could do with a bit more variation, it sounds like it's literally just a 2 bar loop which, although it doesn't sound bad, I think would sound better with more changes in the patterns to keep it interesting.
That's all ;)
6.5/10 - looks like I'm getting a bit precise in my old age :p
(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = outstanding) |

| I'm in love with this track... even though it's fairly standard for uplifting in terms of musical style, I can't get enough of that distorted oboe. It's so sad... I love it. |

Very good percussion and a funky beat. Great intro, the blips are really dreamy and interesting. Keeps a nice buildup.
One thing I thought of was maybe having some echo from some element hanging in the break so it doesnt get so quiet there.
Great strings and a sweet melody, good stuff this :D
Oooh, nice reentry of the drums :)
Maybe have some lead alternate to your main melody and fade in during around 5 min?
Good stuff anyway, well done! |
