Best Party of 2001 for Toronto (pg. 2)

For me it was @ Wintergalactic last year. The night was magic in so many ways. Being a part of it all really elevated that party to a level that will be hard to match anytime soon....oh wait...the next wintergalactic is only a few months away...hehe.
Other nights that blew my mind:
Picotto at the Guv
Howells @ System (the first time)
Tiesto @ Kool Haus
Digweed in Detroit
State 01

These are my preferences.
1. Paul Van Dyk (Feb)@ Kaul Haus (Great Set - great DJ)
2. Ferry Corsten at Guvernment (PERFECT NIGHT!!)
3. Tiesto @ Kaul Haus (One of the hypes crowd I've seen!)
Well the year isn't over and there's still Smirnoff Experience and New Years eve. I don't think there's going to be anything in T.O to blow our minds away, but the Smirnoff Experience is a great way to end a good year of TRANCE in T.O.
I'll be the guy at Smirnoff Experience with the shirt off, the beer-gut, and the sweaty body rubbing against you while you're trying to have a goodtime. (YIKES!!) |

Paul Van Dyk @ Koolhaus (Feb 10th/01).......set wise this may of sucked by i saw pvd for the first time.......so i liked it
Tiesto@ Koolhaus (oct 6th/01).........this was destructive.....4 hrs of tiesto.....pure magic. |

Well I missed WG2001, so I don't know what I missed....
but for me....
PvD @ Guvernment and State '01 are neck to neck for being the best party I went to, had an amazing time in both
Tiesto @ Kool Haus was not to be missed as well, although I didn't enjoy the other DJ's as much that night, to open for Tiesto you gotta hype the crowd and seemed too progressive before he got on. |

Tiesto at WG 01 was amazing
who can forget the pyro and the lazers
along with the snow flakes and people
tiesto played all the songs i wanted to hear and more
the crowd chanted his name so many times i don't even remember
he was happy and dancing all night long drinking his rev's
we all chanted him back for an encore..............
and he gave us Sky Dive.........wow
we need a huge ass party like Sensation, Cream Fields, or the Love Parade
WG02 could be it but we need a huge venue
Sonic State should look into the Better Living Centre or something
what do you guys think? |
