Wow what a great percussive intro! I REALLY like! The distored guitars are sucha refreshing touch to the genre! The vocals sound so soothing!

Yeah..you can add it for sure. I'll let him know that his vox work so well! I hope to do more with his vocals....I know he said he loved my remix so we'll see!

| Very interesting track, i love the whole ambiance of it, very mellow sounds and cool synths. The singer has got a nice voice, indeed a bit DM yes. It got a bit of a synthpopfeel over it now. I sometimes do remixes for a synthpoplabel and your track sounds a bit like my remixwork. Maybe you could add some more percussion, it sounds a bit too empty now imo. Other than that i really like this one. Good job. |

Yup Depeche Mode for sure but only so far as the vocals go. Personally, I never really listened to much of them...but Orphan (the vocalist) is a big fan of theirs naturally, as his voice is a dead-ringer!

this sounds awesome, mate.
but you need to fix the bassline.. too much reverb + lack of low end.
other than that, this is perfect! the percussion is simple, yes, but i like it that way.. the mix will become too busy otherwise.

Hey, listening. The drums are amazing, really enjoying this so far. Really great quality, what programs are you using? This is really nice with the vocals floating around, its not cheesy at all its really what trance is supposed to be. Awesome break 2:35 \o/.
Those vocals are awesome, reminding me of 80's songs. This is like a REAL trance track, not cheesey and not badly produced! I really like this keep it up man. |

Amazingly powerful...
The subtle vocals, the quirky guitar... everything else screamed quality. The drums are rather cool with the touches of reverb you applied to them. Yes, there are vintage touches applied to this track, as the drums sound 80-ish and the synthpop comments warrant attention. That is a very good thing... I like the whole atmosphere of this track.

| sounds great except for that kick and that element surrounding it. bit tired right now so can't help much. vocals nice, guitar nice, prog feel, layering, etc etc all fine except that kick and that other thing with it ruins it. |

TOR.. not enough low end?? hmmm... I agree the bassline is simple, but I haven't heard anyone say it was too thin. :confused:
madliq - coming from you that's a real compliment! Your stuff is great...still listening to the ones you listed.
4 on 4er - dude, glad you liked it! It's got an old 80's synthpop feel but vintage...i dunno.
Commisad - that KICK took me darn near forever to get all those elements around it!! Oh well...can't win em all, I loved this kick. The only one of mine I liked!:D |
