| Minimalism :) You're spot on with the description! This is exactly the kind of music I like to listen to when driving home at night: peaceful floading melodies with soft, simple beat. Just got to be careful not to fall a sleep behind the wheel. ;) |

I agree with Chronosis
real nice minimal stuff :)
though, I'd enjoy a deepass bassline or once every 4th bar bass note or something.
dig this track :) |

I think the kick should have more thump.
It's too 909ish.
Nice choir.
I don't like the fxes.
Add more precs,
Too repitetive.
Sorry I don't like it,
2/5 for the effort.

nils: thanks! im definately gonna follow your advise about a good bassline or a deep drone of bass every 1 in 4 beats! i think that ll give it what it needs.
the drow: lol! i know the pink is a bit vile... i think ill give it a blue tinge just to make it less girly...
i think i may add some more perc. maybe some subtle bongo's?
i thought the fx's worked ok but were only a play around. i think the filter could go once the track is more filled out with some bass and more perc.
cheers for the advise guys:) |
