Hello all,
I would like a second opinion my friend says this sucks, but i would like to know it from other people if it realy does, i'll just put it in the trashcan if it does, but i want to know other people telling me if they like it or not, i just worked on it for a evening so it's pretty much proto.

Prototype... this track has some fantastic ideas in the beginning that I should probably go into depth with. However, I was expecting a full-on trance beat to start this up, but it came very late.
The trance beat itself needs ALOT of work. The kick sounds like it's being played from under a pillow, and the clap sounds too simple. The bass is good, and shouldn't be changed a whole lot, except some better compression. The mid-range hoovers have got to go - we'll I"m not a fan personally of hoovers, but whatever works I guess. The basslines were sounding muddied as heck after the beat kicked in.
The pads and porta-sine lead at the beginning was very good, and I'd stick with that concept if I could help it. The rest needs some work. |
