what's the most you've paid or are willing to pay for a CD?

i think the most i've paid is around 20 US (i don't remember what it was). i'm thinking of buying something that will be about 40 US total (its over 10 years old & no i'm not saying what it is. he he).:nervous:

| I usually won't go above 18 or 19 US. Sometimes a bit more if it's a triple album or if there is a DVD included. But I think albums are overpriced as it is in the US. Average cost for a CD is around 17-19 US. I don't really look for rare or old albums though, not usually interested in them. |

| i've paid about $55 au for cds a couple of times, they had to be imported. i wouldn't go much more than that unless it was a rare collectors item and i just had to have it no matter the cost :) |

lol. 20 usd! pretty much all new cds in the shops here are more expensive than that. cds are so ing expensive here!

i rarely buy albums/compilations and i've never paid anything ridiculous for one. but i've paid some dumb amounts for cd singles though, but i rarely buy singles that are over 7€.

I offered the guy 60 euro for a CD and he said no, then just when I was about to offer 100, I found it from someone else for 10 :D
And as far as I know there's only 3 copies or so. |

$150. For a limited edition importated 7 disc symphonic suite of an RPG series.
That was a one-off, though. I doubt I'd splurge like that on anything else (well, maybe an Oliver Lieb box-set... HINT!).
When just shopping down at the local shops, though, I usually won't pay anymore than $30 for a release (usually a double). Maybe the odd time I might indulge in something a little over if it looks really good, but very rarely. |

and it happens to be 1st Armin mix cd :)
