i was actually raised with soul and motown, so rap was a natural progression after my small stint in gospel during late elementary school. Rap is and will always be my true love in the music world. but i have learned to enjoy other music too. mostly i dont listen to other music but trance/hard trance/and hardstyle have been THE only musical form to almost take Rap's place in my heart. but with the sudden rise to fame that Texas rap has gotten, also with the whole Common/Kanye/Talib triology producing and making amazing records (to include the GREAT John Legend album), finally with the promise of a new DMX album and a new Ruff Ryders album, Rap (For now) has taken hold of the top spot in my heart.
But fear not because although it is number 2 in my heart, there is no other behind it. It remains the ONLY other music i currently listen to.

I love Hip-Hop, don't get me wrong. I'm very big into Aespo Rock, RJD2, El-P, stuff on Anticon.
I've been bumping that Handsome Boy Modeling School CD w/ Tim Meadows doing the segues...MOG its awesome!!!
