Tunnel had 2 different phases..
It was the hottest club in the world 1994-1996 (when Merritt was the resident on Saturdays. No party has ever compared to what went on in there.
Then in 1996 Tunnel was shut down on multiple drug charges and reopened months later...but was never the same. Danny Tenaglia had his Saturday residency there after the glory days.
I promoted at Tunnel until the "big bust" of 1996 and then moved my party to Twilo in 1996...
Gonzaga was the resident DJ for my parties at both Tunnel and Twilo back then. I strongly suggest all of you come out to check out the sounds we used to rock back then at tonight's Tunnel Classics Party! |
