I definitely had one of thee most insane weekends of my life. Luckily, only one of those days involved intenses doses of varied alcoholic beverages... I'd like to just take some time and recap the weekend for completely useless purposes..

*hopes she can remember everything* :haha:

Friday:

Took off work Friday and headed to Great Adventure in the early morning...
Basically just went on Batman, Nitro, Superman, Medusa and Kingda Ka... lines weren't too bad and weather was ok. Here's a pic of my friends and me on the Nitro (LOVE that ride!! i think it was my favorite bc even tho it didn't have loops, you were barely held down so it was pretty scary..and the first drop is GREAT):

The Kingka Ka (see pic below) was open for only 1.5 hours, so we bumrushed the line to get on. WOAH. 22 seconds of linear induction, 128mph in 3.5 seconds, 456 feet high!!!! (you can see chicago from the top :p), straight up (90°), corkscrew straight muthain Down!!!!

Got home around around 11pm, took a shower and fell asleep on my bed til 3am. get a phone call from fellow TA obviously in a club by the bass distortions i heard asking me where the funk i am. I roll my ass outta bed, wax up the hair, get a pair of jeans on and head to crobar for Behrouz. GREAT music. He never disappoints but i can't say the same about the crowd. pretty thin, and no vibe whatsoever. and there were these absolutely idiotic dancers of both sexes pretending to be belly dancers and gay sheiks... cute girls dancing in bikinis can't look that bad but when you have guys in Aladdin getups doin the magic carpet dance in front of 2000 people, i don't know how to keep a straight face. lmao. i wish i had a picture of their alibaba-with-eyeliner-lookin asses.

Saturday:

Left crobar around around 6 with shellsh0ck (GTA) and promptly decided to book it down to the beach. barely any cars on the road, beautiful weather. as i'm speeding down the highway, i pass a state trooped going about 110mph. he clocked me at 105. DOH! got a massive speeding ticket because he thought i was laughing in his face but really, michi and i were just absoulutely delirious. the obviously insecure state trooper got really annoyed at the fact that we didn't seem to care. "Stay in your car!!!" like i was gonna go anywhere else??? rofl. so he comes back with a speeding ticket (speed limit is 65mph) and another ticket for reckless driving solely "because you were laughing up a storm" (untrue, i did smirk when he was initially coming to the car, but he thought i was laughing at him.) he then threatens to take me trial if i contest the charges. the dude was seriously high strung. i wish i could have told him that he needs to get laid or something. anyways, i'll pay the fine no problem, get the points. the way i look at it? i'm paying his salary. :toothless state troopers are teh suck.

regardless, getting the ticket didn't ruin the beach day at all.
we were the first ones there around 8am and the weather was so fine. soooo much fun swimming in the ocean with no one around! over the course of the day, it got more packed, we passed out and eventually developed highly uneven sunburns. lol.

Me and shellsh0ck @ Belmar beach, NJ (before sunburns):

went back to my house to shower up and get ready to go to PS1 (outdoor day party in queens- minimal techno, experimental stuff usually. www.ps1.org) and were so ing late it was unbelievable. finally made it into the city as there's a damn 6 alarm fire going on around macy's in herald square. gridlocked traffic. so i took it upon myself to get onto the other side of the road and get the hell outta the way for the fire trucks. finally get into queens via midtown tunnel and the exit we have to get off on is closed. :wtf: wtf, i have no clue how to get around queens!! :whip: after several uturns, it's almost 9pm (PS1 promptly closes by 9pm), i bust a u-turn while getting directions on my cell and ended up busting a flat when i hit a curb made of sharp metal. wtf, what kinda corner curbs are made from steel!? ffs. in shrapnel stabbed the outta my tire. went immediately flat in 2 seconds. so now we're in the middle of nowhere (across the street from a salvation army with lots of crackheads waiting outside for who knows what) and alley ways for trucks and cargos. finally, sunshine79 comes to our rescue and changes the tire cuz i have never changed one before and didn't even kno how to. but now i do, so thanx bri :D

drove back to her place in astoria and ended up crashing on her couch for about 3 hours. woke up at 3am and was dying to go to spirit for max graham (who i heard rocked that night! oh well) and ended up chillin with michi for another few hours since he felt really sick due to the fact that the only food in his gut for the past 24 hours had been 4 donuts and blue gatorade. i felt the same way so i got us some samiches at a deli around 4am. (gotta love new york.)

Sunday

head home around 7am, sleep for 4 hours and finally chill out with my folks (i live with them, and we eat dinner together every night. i'd been missing out and in an italian family, the surest way to piss off your folks is to miss dinner, so i had to make up for it.) ate around 2pm, showered again, went shopping for a present and went to the city to doug's (guy in the yellow shirt on the rollercoaster above) birthday party. since my car has a small and flimsy donut wheel on it, i take my dad's GMC Jimmy instead. hate that truck, it feel likes you're riding in a damn boat. (i have an Acura RSX, tight handling and great suspension, so the differences are uncomparable.)

head to a dive bar with my a few friends and Doug, who is normally a White Stripe kinda guy, asks "so, what kind of drinks are birthday drinks?".....and 3 seconds later, the shots come. and they're not even fuzzy navels or like that- in shots of jack daniel. wtf! now me, i barely ever drink. one shot of jackie and i'm bowled over. so i make sure i get a tall glass of water so i can maintain some kind of composure. 2 shots of jack, 2 vodka tonics, some other shot that i cant remember. it was one of those nights where everyone's laughing themselves to tears. :D

i proceed to sober up and head over to Le Souk to meet michi. first time i've been there, and i've heard a load of good reviews from their sunday night parties. i totally recommend it to people that are visiting! it's free too, sound system is kickin, vibe's good and the decor is gorgeous. it's like a loft in the basement, tre cool. :p

we head to Show (over in times square, i think it used to be Sachi if i'm correct) for NYC's notorious "Asseteria" party (symbolized by a huge plaster thonged asscheeks displayed on stage.) i have never seen so many thugs and half naked gorilla-like dancing guidos and guidettes in my life. i was sure i was going to see some sort of stabbing or something. dj Boris was spinning (insert puke face here) and the bass was distorted enough to make your hair vibrate. ugh. by that point, i was considering getting drunk again just so i could stomach being in that cesspool of a club. weird 95% naked dancers on stage doing very strange things (ie, girl with big ass and fake boobage constantly shaking and shimmying those plastic balloons she calls breasts-- which didn't move a centimeter btw.)

left around 4 maybe? and went to do a little sightseeing from the other side of the hudson (aka new jersey). headed to weehawken to catch some stellar views of the city and i leave the car off but the stereo on. being preoccupied with other things, i finally see a blinking security light on the dashboard and promptly jump back into the driver's seat. dead truck. ! a spanish television station pulls up a few feet in front of us, apparently getting ready to do a news story rofl. i ask them for a jump and they kindly oblige. thank god for good samaritans. and jump cables. by that time, it's 6am, my dad goes to work at 6:30 and i still have to bring michi back to queens. i'm screwed! I just make up some dumb excuse about but my parents didn’t even seem slightly annoyed at the fact that I have been partying out so late, even on a sunday (they were just happy I had early Sunday dinner with them I guess hehe.)

Monday

So after some coaxing from michi, I decided to play hooky from work. Luckily, over the weekend my voice was shredded so I really did sound horrible. I also had a sore throat and a lobster sunburn. So I Was sick. My workplace is really chill and my coworker (who I also report to) is like my sister, so I called up and without even telling her I was sick, she told me I better not come in to work. So it worked out good, bc I hate lying. (although I did have to lie to my mom and say I was going to work when really I was going to the city to hang.) came home around 10 (finally, an early night!) and felt a throbbing pain in my upper lip.. ! Cold sore! Damn it.. took 4 valtrex and this mother****** has literally taken up half of my upper lip. Going to the doctor to make sure it’s not strep virus in my lip (as I had once when I was in Norway.. omg horrible..my lips looked like a seriously botched up collagen job!!) and to xray this welt I have on my shin- I got it over a month ago at jiu jitsu, thinking it was just a bruise, but the welt is hard now and I banged it hard again this weekend. looks like scar tissue has formed and hardened underneath the skin which makes me believe it’s a fibula facture (the bone next to your shin.)

Tuesday
Woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 8:00, at work by 9:30. Feeling ok, going to the doctor at 3.

So let’s see…

Repercussions from this weekend:

Fibula fracture
Hangover (altho slight)
Voice shredded to bits (raspy is an understatement- i sound like a 70 year old smoker!)
Busted tire (dad got 4 brand new tires for me tho, so nice of him!)
Dead car battery
Big ass speeding ticket
Mysterious red marks on my neck? (i think a vampire attacked me in my sleep :haha: )
Sunburn
Cold- sneezing, sniffly nose. congestion
Massive fever blister the size of Botswana

alright, i just wanted to get all that off my chest. thanx for reading, tho i understand that's a helluva lotta bull to read thru. :haha: :toothless do i qualify for the hardcore partier's club yet? :happy2:

Compared to you, apparently not much at all.

The only thing I got going on is the fact that Im about to start my mountain of debt - $7,000 per semester for the next 2 year, and than Grad School and than Medical School... W00T for me. Some of you think youre in debt, well when I reach the $150-200,000 mark yall wont think 15-20,000 is much.
