aight, i'm not sure how other people feel about this, but i think atlanta could DEFINITELY use a techno party! i think with one or two headliners, somewhere like the mark could easillllly get packed out, why doesn't anyone do this?

but for real, totally theoretical, but what are everyone's thoughts (especially all the promoters)?? :) i think atlanta's scene needs a lil somethin somethin to spice things up :thepirate |

richie hawtin and john acquaviva was here back in march 2001..that was a ing sick party. i remember dancing my ass off at the dekalb arts center!!
chris liebing- was here summer 2003 with mauro picotto at level 3 the same night! it was banging the whole night. unfornately the person i was with decided to get very drunk and unruly and i had to leave :whip:
and carl cox...my father..j/k..what i wouldn't do to see that man here.
just remember the bigger names is what brings the crowds here. if atlanta doesn't know who the person is they won't come out even if it's heavily promoted, but nonetheless i would be there. |

| Techno has never really done well in the Southeast in my partying days. I know Hagen brought Mauro Picotto and Chris Liebing back in 03. I heard the show didn't do too well. I think the last time Cox was in Atlanta he played with Hybrid, can't remember the venue though. Bring back Carl Cox, myself and about 10 others would drive to Atlanta for the show. |
