So your looking to make a sample from a liveset or something?
Musicutter will work. Just make a cue with the first track everything before the sample. The second track the actual sample and the third track everthing after the sample. Something like this:
code:
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "Before sample"
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "Sample"
INDEX 01 23:45:00
TRACK 03 AUDIO
TITLE "After sample"
INDEX 01 25:45:00
For a waveform view you could use Cool Edit Pro 2. It can handle mp3. |

| mp3DirectCut should do the trick. It has an Auto Cue function that lets you enter any time for all cues (eg. every 2 minutes) and then creates those cues for you (every 2 minutes). You can save the cue file for that MP3. Then use the Save Split function which will automatically save each section as an individual track. Check out the Software section on TA, or Google mp3DirectCut for a newer version. |
