I feel like such a NooB to you 96'-97 people!
A got a few CD's from Friends with Mixes and Tracks on it.. Man they where cheeeeeessssyyy ( Tunnle Trance Force:nervous:) But at the time I did not know any better and thought the music was really good. So I got on the internet and started down loading Mixes from Tiesto, Ferry, Armin, Judge jules...

One of my goles before I finished Collage was to go to a Rave. So I went to Monster Massiv 2002 and had an awesome time. Then In Nov I walked into Spundae to see Tiesto:eyes: That night I feel in love with the music, clubing and Tiesto!
A few months later I saw BT live at the Place and that changed my life for ever! ;)

This is going to sound really cheesy, but DJ Quicksilver back in the mid 90s. :stongue: I loved the song "Timerider" immensely. I was also really into Kosmonova, ATB and Robert Miles. Those were probably the first few producers that got me into EDM. Good times. ;)

Hahaha I've switched a few people to Electronic at work... :tongue3

A while back my friend John from IT heard me listening to Oakenfold's Homelands Essential Mix and before you knew it, he had set up an internal server full of dance music just for us to listen to! It was cool, we would all put in music in there every day and stream it.

Than, I've been listening to Tiesto's Essential Mix live at Cream and two of my coworkers asked me for copies! Before you know it, they're bumping it LOUD!!!

Not only that, but the day I played at Spundae, I had two coworkers show up and a third one showed up to the last Element.

Only 2500 more coworkers to and The Register will be under my control!

:tongue3

I dont know what year it was(maybe around '92) but there was a happy hardcore song about Speed Racer. Then another song with the Sesame Street theme in the backround(another happy hardcore). that led to small raves her in the LA area...Toe Jam, Old MacDonalds Rave and other underground parties. Stopped going to parties around the time I had my first child(pregnant in '95 delivered in july '96) but soon returned about a year later.

My tastes have changed since then.

Its alllllllllll good!:D

I remember those tracks Silvia. The Toy Techno craze of 1991/92. ;)

I will have to say that if it wasn't for Junior Chavez. I would not have experienced such great music that has changed my life forever..... Thank you Junior for showing me the light!

BT - Flaming June

Heard it at my first party. Kept it in the CD changer for about 4 months.

Why did it take you so long to find tranceaddict?

i only found this music about 4 or 5 years ago, came out to visit my brother and we went to spundae before it left circus the first time and i can't even remember the dj that was on, my mind is slipping, but i danced all night and after that sadly the only cd i had of that music was one my brother burned for me and sand storm was on it, yes that old song, and it infected me and after that i finally moved here and within the last year finally experienced some amazing djs: avb, chris l., eric morillo, pvd, kristina sky, phil k., and tons more so i would have to say that after seeing avb i realized i must see and hear as many great djs as i can, it gives me goose bumps when i hear it and can't get it out of my cd player now! partying or sober i love it:gsmile:
