^^ Well that might not actually be as bad as it seems.
So long as they halve the ticket prices and hold the events on different weekends, it'll mean we're not rushing from one tent to another the entire bloody time, and running the risk of missing acts we'd like to see because their scheduled at the same time as other acts we'd like to see - follow my drift?
Same number of acts, double the time. Let's just hope it's not double the price too.

problem lies in the fact that they will be held on the same weekend... and seeing as the events are being run by different promoters i think (Perth TA's correct me..) there isnt much possibility of half price tickets.. perhaps cheaper ones if the two parties try to compete for the crowds, but half price... mmmm doubtful
nothing official has been annouced yet tho... so perth TA's can only hope.. |

hi guys,
this is first time i take a look at the australia forum cuz i was bored on our holland forum.
I see you guys are gonna have tiesto overthere and i also see yer still the real trance ppl.
In holland more and more ppl go for the techno, but i think the trance still overrules:)
I hope you all are gonna have a great time at the party!

| Yup, I'm there! Me and a whole bunch of friends will be going, and while we would usually head up to Sydney (from Canberra) i think we will be heading to Melbourne town for this one. There's just something about that city.... |

| Yeah! Go the melbourne one! Any idea who the local DJ's will be? Also, does any body have any idea if faithless are still coming to aust some time? That would be awesome, tiesto and faithless both this year. |

Well, I'm assuming it'd just be the usual locals: Andy Van, Sean Quinn, Kasey Taylor, BeXta, John Course, Nik Fish etc - haven't heard the official local lineup though, so I'm just guessing.
And as for Faithless, I remember reading an Sister Bliss interview (before she performed at Summer Dayze), and I seem to remember she said that Faithless would be coming out, but don't hold be to that because I can't really remember for certain what the arrangement (if any) was.
Oh well, I'm hoping they make the trip over anyway: it'd be interesting to see an actual electronica group perform live instead of just the usual bloke standing on the stage spinning someone elses records - not that I don't enjoy that sort of thing you understand. :) |

faithless wont be here
they are pretty much non-compus-mentous, because the lead guy busted his hip, and wont be moving before April, and I also hear[on ITM] that they've broken up |

| From the faithless web site they're touring Europe in march/april so i guess they won't be here then and i'm pretty sure the band are still together. The local lineup of bexta+nick fish sounds more like a sydney line up then melbourne, I was more expecting Jason Midro, master Kaos, etc. |
