Wow!
Dont know if any other TAs made it out to this one. But Billy kicked my ass all the way home and back!
I went with my GF Lisa. We arrived between the opener Biff Naked and Billy. (perfect timing, we had zero desire to see Biff naked)
So, on comes The Original Rebel. The sound was fantastic and he can still belt it out like its 1985 :eyes: He played all the classics you would expect like White Wedding, Rebel Yell, Eyes Without a Face, and Mony Mony. I enjoyed some of the newer tracks he played and was totally blown away by his cover of L.A. Woman by The Doors.
Boo to paying 8.25 for a beer :whip:

Its so funny you should mention that! When I was surprising Lisa with the tix, I used the clue "He was in the wedding singer" I thought she'd get it for sure!
Her answer: "Umm...we're seeing Adam sandler?" :haha: |

Prolly my fave concert of the summer so far (yeah I've seen most of em there). Not that I actually get to see much of the shows as I'm slining that 8.25 -10.50 beers. But I did get to see his last song (for once) and he rocked out a 10 minute rendition of Mony Mony. Too bad the rain kept the crowd away as the people who were there were super gratious and I would have made more $$. :thepirate

Aslan- I had no idea you were working there!
We went to Cirque du Soleil last night, and as we were cutting thru the Ex to get back to the car, some carney worker was teasing an Idol concert goer, singing "White Wedding" into the mic. |
