exactly my point bird brain boy...you know it but it's not your cup of tea, which is unlike the majority of people here who think all theyre known for is I Wanna Hold Your Hand...and why DONT they listen to chopin or starvinsky...take the time out to explore ffs...ive listened to Mozart and Tchaikovsky and i respect and enjoy their music, but theyre nowhere near my favs...at the very least i can tell you this confidently...

everyone should drop their bull Gorillaz or Coldplay or Black Eyed Peas and listen to Abbey Road once, just once...thats all...its not so hard...

sgt peppers is a better album in my opinion....

And im my opinion Paul Simon is one of the greatest writers of all time....

All remixed for EDM tracks. Zabs dropping that Song 2 mix last summer kicked ass and I like the Martin Roth mix of Last Time. That was actually my motivation to buy the Keane CD and check out what else they had to offer. Mr. Brightside depresses me, though.

THE MARS VOLTA!!!

Musically and mentally one of the greatest bands i have heard in years....and that is only with 2 albums under their belt.
Otherwise been listening to a ton of prog rock recently:

Dream Theatre
Yes
Rush
King Crimson
Groundhog Boy

Very interesting selection for 2005. Not familiar with Dream Theatre, but the other 3 are great every once in awhile. Ever try out Emerson Lake and Palmer?

Yea, I definitely have...and even though I know they were pioneers for prog, their sound (along with Genesis) was just too synth based for me.

As for more recent stuff:

Coheed & Cambria
Brand New
NIN

Sisters of Mercy
Throwing Muses
Luscious Jackson
This Mortal Coil
