Well, as far as music selection goes, this isn't better than your previous selections. But that's just my personal taste speaking. The flow itself is untouchable. I loved the first track, lovely way to start off a set. Props for that.
Going back to music selection, to say that it wasn't better than your previous selections does not mean that this one isn't good. I enjoyed it almost as much. The track around the 25th minute is very good. And the Inkfish Remix I'm also liking.
So you see, track selection for you is not a problem. And as a result you keep the essential good vibe and flow throughout the mix. Cheers for another quality mix.
Another thing, don't worry about the descriptions. They are good. In a way the descriptions make your threads stand out from those of other users that post their mixes here. If anything, the description just shows your dedication and creativity. You even created a logo for every mix you create. Give yourself credit.
Thanks for the mix.
EDIT: cue list? |

Hey man, thanks for the great comments. :D I must admit I was worried about what your thoughts on the mix was. I didn't want to alienate one of the best supporters I've had on here with my experimentation/exploration with other genres. But when it comes right down to it I have to do what I want to do, because otherwise this creative outlet of mine will become meaningless. So I'm glad you weren't completely turned off and still thought the flow was there. You did positively comment on the Embalm mix so you know that I can get a bit whacky with track-selection on occasion. Oh and YES on the track at 25 min! MFA - Overhang; had this tune in my playlist for a while but didn't until recently realize the power/pull of this tune. And same goes for the Inkfish Remix of Larry Mountains (although I pretty much knew my love for that track from the start). :D
Also, I would like to proudly say that my brother enjoyed this one. I think he enjoyed this one more than most of my others and that is really nice. It's not completely suprising as he is into more elctro and techy type stuff, but to impress him genuinely is actually quite an accomplishment. To get an idea of his electronica tastes, his favorite artist is Sven Vath. God that boy loves Sven. :wtf: |

hmmmm... i like the sound of this. i am at work right now, but when i get home i WILL def be downloading this monster...
i like the looks of those tracks... just got quite a few of those plates myself. actually, this seems strikingly similar to 'adentro' style after style after style of acidic, heady pieces.... (hmmmmmmm)
cant wait to hear it, you have yet to disappoint |

Awesome, I look forward to your comments. I hope your not dissapointed by it's more housey, electro and almost acidic influences. If your are no biggie but don't be afraid to say so. :disbelief |
Another good set, Metatron! Very solid mixing the entire way through.
And I was in no way disappointed by the housier elements of the mix. Trance is trance, house is house, and good music is good music. I don't descriminate. :D
Personal highlights for me were tracks 2, 4, 9, and 11. That Inkfish remix is HUUUUGE! :eyes: Overall, an interesting new direction for you, and one which I hope you'll pursue further.
Cheers! I look forward to the next round. |

hey, thanks a bunch! i'm really glad you enjoyed it. :) and 9!!! YES!! Hugg and Pepp - Snabeln. Such a great tune. I think this tune is what made the set for me personally. It's a bit broken up tune but yet the bassline, feeling and double breakdown just plain rock!!
the metatron avy will be back, after all.. he is thee metatron. :D
cheers |

DUDE all I can say is HOLY...this is sick. As with all your mixes, for some reason your tastes in track selections change to exactly what I'm always listening to at the current time. Weird. But yea I've been listening to sooooo much Sasha, Digweed and the like lately after just seeing digger live...finally
Just loving this set. |

Thanks! This stuff is where it's at as far as I'm concerned. :D
I missed Digweed when he came :( but I did see Sasha and he was pretty great but I was more impressed by the house stylings and energy of Steve Porter who opened for him. Digweeds EM @ Global Gathering is def THE BEST set I've heard this year. I've probably listened to it like 30 times now. :D And can't wait to check him out the next time he rolls around.
Cheers, really glad you liked it and hope you check out my next. ;)
Oh and finally have a cue file:

lol, really??
well, for those who haven't used a cue before; look for the option to "burn image to disk". Then just open the cue file. simple. but make sure that the cue and the mp3 files are in the same directory. that's it and the cd will have the tracks cut up so you can skip through and .
and LMAO at the new avatar ierxium. not sure what it's from but it has a familiar feeling. it's great. :D there's just something about it.
also, just noticed:
happy birthday TOR!
Cheers!
