with so many songs heard since the beginning of April these songs have been on my IPOD/Computer or in the many clubs/afterparties that I have heard the DJ's spin.......working for a record label for 4 years and managing record stores for 7.....I have a new favourites almost every week.....you begin to quickly recycle/filter and update often hence such a long list.......did not hear much jungle or chill-out this summer so I cannot comment on those genres.....but trance/house and breaks I have heard a plenty.
New styles of house broke out and exploded all over the place this summer and the amount of quality trance tracks is astounding.....
many classic breaks artists had a hey day too this summer and many remixes of older tracks that I had loved orignally have gotten a re-rub.
This summer I have had such a diverse grouping of DJ's in which to derive these lists from - and many of those our own TA DJS!!!!
Barry, Ray, Kevin, Dennis, Andrew, Aaron (Mossey/Joseph), RJ, Drew, Jon Jon, Richard, Peter, Stilez.......and on and on......
