This is definately ambience. The slow strings are very trancy... this almost sounds like a perpetual breakdown. The entire time, I'm fully expecting a loooooooooong snare roll to start stuttering it's way into a bombastic display of kickrolls and bass drops.

Melodic wise... fairly standard theme - extracted from alot of trance music. I could almost layer a trance beat over this, except that the strings are too soft, and don't filter back UP for that to work 100%.

In retrospect, however, I like it (don't take these comments as negative). I almost see images of a cyberpunk; urban mayhem theme... almost like some epic anime character struggling in a brave, lonely world. Nice.

cheers for the comment mate...yeah i wanted to keep it very ambient and relaxing and not put any beats in,much like the stuff on the 'Chilled Euphoria' comps...
i might make the later guitar melodies a bit more powerful...glad u liked it! :)

I haven't heard the original but this one was very warm and mellow! Great bit of ambient trance pal!
Well produced. I really really liked that sweet arp you had there at the intro... it was a beautiful synth patch! I found the whole thing a tad on the "thin" sounding side...but minimal is okay for this type of thing I guess! I didn't really like the vocal sample. It broke the vibe.

Started to get a little boring until about halfway when the arp came back and the percs kicked in. Still a bit on the LONG side IMO.

Have a boo at mine, if you please! ;)
