Big difference.
One you have to attend specific classes, take exams and receive passing grades for over years of study and one you purchase.
Has anybody ever purchased a degree from Yale or Harvard? If so how would one do so? If you know of someone who has please let me know whom . . . and your source.
There is a forum on Transaddict for political discussion. This thread belongs there.
There is nothing more fruitless than a political discussion based on hyperbole. |

This is what I posted in response to that on another board...
----------------------------------------
That's insane, but I think saying "looting" when it comes to getting food is the wrong term.
I actually completely understand the need for the stranded people to go into stores to take food...it's about survival. I think labelling anyone doing this as a looter is absolutely wrong, no matter what color.
BUT
Note that the photo captions were written by completely different wire outlets (AP vs AFP).
Captions written with pictures are written by the press organization, not the publication.
For example, the same picture with the same text re: looting is on Washington Post's website, too...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dy...5083000848.html
And on the In-Forum ASSOCIATED PRESS site...
http://www.in-forum.com/ap/index.cf...ew&id=D8CAC7E80
Yahoo's news service is completely based on feeds and is automated. The caption provided with the picture was provided by the associated press. The caption provided by AFP was written by AFP.
If someone can find an AP pic with a white person "finding" something or someone can find an AFP pic with a black person "looting" something then I think proper debate can arise. Then if it's discovered that the two decks with different captions was written by the same person, then that debate could be taken to even a higher level. But until then, once again, I think characterization is premature. And I AM THE LAW!! :-p
Could it be a racial issue? For sure. But until we know, blowing it out of proportion is just going to cause trouble and not resolve anything.
---------------------
Also, to note how some people see things...an example I saw right on CNN....
(I posted this on another board earlier)
I am watching CNN (love having cable in my office at work :-p) and they are talking about the issues at the NO Convention Center...
The reporter was saying how cops pulled over a car and arrested the driver...he then said, "He had stolen the car. That's not the right word to use. They had TAKEN the car. His wife and two kids were in it. All they were trying to do is find a way out of here."
Just goes to show you that there are reporters are realize what's going on and are seeing what some people are doing as just trying to survive |

Bush received a Bachelors Degree from Yale University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
I can understand if you don't agree with his policies but the guy is far from a simpleton. |
ROFL
Obviously no one gave you the memo... Harvard is for stupid people who come from rich families. |
