what can I use for REALLY warm bass, that is a modern synth (not a recreation of an old analog synth)

I've considered albino, Ultra analog, or tassman
what synths (not clones of old analog hardware) do you use for deepp, warm, moog style bass?

Try this

Just joking...

For a warm bass, it actually doesn't matter which soft synth you use.. As long as you use it correctly..
Albino or Pro-53 would do it..
djlogik
I find that Pro-53 does really well with any style bass or saw pads and what not. Try making something with Pro-53

The Minimonsta and more Minimoog V might be good to try out :)
ErikC
Waldorf Pulse! 3DCOs and a Moog like filter..

(considering I'm not currently planning on purchasing the pro-53

What? You dont have and neither want to buy the Pro-53.
Must be the first time I`ve heard that one.
The Pro-53 is a must, at least for me :)

I don't really like programing the pro-53 too
TVG
I've never liked the pro53.
Chronosis
Confessions here. :D I agree though, I don't like it either.

Anyways. This is actually the first time I see anyone mentioning Tassman on this forum. Imo it's one of the most thick-sounding software there is. It's a modular sound synthesis studio, like Reaktor. Which is most likely why it isn't widely used. You can get really good basses with it. But the best basses still come from VCO's and VCF's.

How can you not like the Pro53? It's so damn easy to program :)
DJ Ambin
The Pro-53 is limited.

Just get Reaktor and your problem will be solved.
