| It's only natural for me to pick up the 360 since I already own an xbox. I like the fact that each platform has there own titles like Halo, GT4 etc. Plus, I think the 360 looks more sleek than the PS3 |

Although I think Sony has a better track record, I think buying the XBOX would be better. Sony's big titles are always the same: Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, etc. Nintendo has the same problem (no one cares about Mario anymore!).
This is why although many people complained about Microsoft coming into the gaming industry, I think it was a welcome breath of new life into the console scene. |

Sony is here to stay,
I 100% go with the PS. |

They should totally re-do Atari
I used to love my Atari |
If I remember right, I think they re-released all the old Atari games for a console, can't remember which.
And also, specs mean nothing if the games suck. With the hardware out today, you can make any game look fantastic, but if it isn't worth playing, what's the point?
Right now, I'm leaning toward PS3, but the recent run of really well playing games for Xbox make me think that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to get the 360.
Either way, I'm findining I don't have enough time either way to play anymore, so it might be a moot point. |

Has anyone experienced any problems with there first model PS/2?
I got the PS2 it's first day out and have had nothing but problems with the first model of it. I had to get the one laser fixed on it twice now. I read online that several others had the same problem with the first shipment of PS2. So I'd be skeptical to buy the PS3 when it first comes out, but I think it is the system to watch out for. |

My roomate has a first gen PS2, and his dvd drive just died on him too. He said to replace it was hard because there were so many models of the PS2 and its dvd drives.
In terms of PS3 vs 360...Sony is in huge trouble this time around. MS has aquired quite a few game developers, and their whole focus wit this console was to make it easier to make games. It was a lot harder with the original xbox. MS even got Square-Enix this time around, that is HUGE, HUGE!
Xbox had the games I liked, sports, racing(i must have 10+ racing games for the xbox), adventure, and much better graphics and sound.
This time around ps3 will have the better graphics, who knows about sound. I think this will be a very close match in terms of which system is 'better'. I suspect they will both be awesome and people will end up buying both.
So my choice? NEITHER! I will wait till well into their life cycle to date advantage of lower price and game selection. Plus i would want to wait till they are hacked. |

I'm not sure if you're asking me a question or making a statement.....;)
I'm not certain, but I'd believe it if they had re-released all the games, it's not like they'd take up much space or progamming to convert.
I say I'm not certain cuz I only recall this from watching or reading something in passing and really can't be bothered to look it up. :toocool: |
