Well flame me but I like rely on the best drivers when mixing live so i'm good with my signature one pro and plus I love quality over quantity

update

On my latest set of cans (I gift them out when the ear pads get sloppy) I decided to not go new and get the beyerdynamic velour pads this time, I should have done this sooner.

Tony! :D

What cans? 7506's?

Or are you on DT990's?

My missus got me a pair of the AIAIAI TMA-02 as a surprise to replace my 7509HD's

I'm amazed. They're incredibly comfy and the modular design (headband, drivers, pads) are incredibly quality. Best cans I've owned.

I just did a refurb of one of my pairs of 7506s.....velour pads, all new better cables, and a flush 3.5mm jack plug on one cup for a detachable (straight!) high quality cable..how they should have been made in the first place tbh.

ing christ that's a lot of work for $100 cans :p

Did you just drill a little hole for the jack? HTF did you run cable from one side to the other? They're tiny.
