If I wasn't stuck in the musicless St. Louis, I would, by all means.

Best of luck.

Probably not going to be able to swing this one. Got Army-type classes from the 22nd - 29th and don't know if they'll let me slide. Still, we did sort of "donate" over half of my Brigade to the relief effort, so it's not like we just sat on our asses. :tongue2

Okay, I did. . .but let's see you cough up 1,344 people from central Texas to New Orleans in less than 36 hours, including movement time! ;)

Sucks to miss PvD, though. . .gotta be a way to scheme my way down for an evening. Voodoo is an option. . . :disbelief

Marines run faster too, like from fights.:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

Truthfully, when the order literally dropped in our laps, we didn't think it was so cool. Kinda daunting being tasked to provide a Brigade Combat Team and literally every vehicle you have is still in the shop for post-deployment reset and the order says you've got 48 hours to get boots on the ground, and it's Labor Day holiday weekend. We got the order on Thursday, packed everything we could possibly manage into whatever we had that could roll through Thursday and Friday, and the first convoy launched early Saturday morning: buses, Humvees, vans, civilian trucks, eighteen wheelers, fuelers, it looked like something out of Mad Max: The Road Warrior. Three more convoys of stuff followed. Cav knows movement. :D

With that in mind, I oughtta be able to contrive some way to make it to friggin' Houston on the 25th, one would think.:whip:
