| that. They make everything about race nowadays. How could ANYONE say that? This is the height of left-wing libertarian stupidity. Like I keep saying.. we're in a society that is so politically correct we're going to give handicapped people 2 votes each. |

i'm sure he has good intentions, but that wasn't the right time or place to protest about black power and . because there's white people who are getting ed too. Its not selfish, but somthing like that. |
Like 95% percent of the people there are black...
+1 to kanye. He said it right and thats the best time... When its all fresh in peoples minds and he has people listening
Hopefully this whole thing
will be enough to get Bush and the Republicans out of power |

How is this "the height of left-wing libertarian stupidity"??? Isnt not sending troops in time to actually save people "the height of right-wing conservative not-giving-a--about-anyone-who-doesnt-have-millions-of-dollars-and/or-oil.
And it is about race you idiot... As i said above 95% of the people there are black. Do you think that if those people were white that they would still be there??? |

ever since kanye became newly politicized a few months back, i've had a newfound respect for him :)

MOST rappers are as smart as Al Sharpton and could only be taken as serious as him, which ain't too much at all. They assume they know what the hell they are talking about but they don't know jack. It's like that retard Jadakiss' song...

preview...
Why would niggaz push pounds and powder
Why did bush knock down the towers
...
Why a nigga always want what he can't have
Why I can't come through in the pecan Jag
...
Why niggaz can't get no jobs
Why they come up wit the witness protection
Why they let the terminator win the election |

In Jadakiss' case, I believe that message was all about publicity and selling more copies of his album.
Kayne west may have been a bit more heartfelt. |

Eh, the song makes sense to me. Save for the line "Why did bush knock down the towers?" everything else is nothing out of the ordinary. Are you afraid that a rapper made a political statement or something? |

hehe that was funny. I thought kanye was a well spoken and educated individual, but after seeing that video, its clear he's quite the opposite.

he shuldnt be using his time on the air to be critizing Bush abt the iraq war. the broadcast was abt new orleans and getting help to those who need it - regardless of color or race. kanye was not helping the situation at all. who gives a what his opinion is anyway? he's a in loser. i lost respect for him last year after that stunt with the knife in his eye. he then comes out like a few days later for a grammy all teary eyed thankin his fans for their support during this difficult time... :whip: :whip:
god i just dont like him at all. publicity whore.
but i havta agree mike myers expression was smashin :haha: |

For future reference the publicity whore you refer to with the knife in the eye was about another rapper named "Houston" who tried to commit suicide, not Kanye West. I do agree Myers expression was priceless.
As far as his opinion about Bush, he has all the right to criticize Bush harshly just as anybody else has the right to praise Bush highly. |
