i've been constantly wondering about Titor this whole year. when the US (or rather bush) decided to wage war on iraq, the whole world turned on us and i felt that might have been the deciding factor in causing international turmoil.
that new orleans is unbelievable!

w00t! I love John Titor discussions...

I would debate this to death on the Govteen forums a few months back...

Anyway, in the messages Titor posted, I think it says that things got worse from the end of 2004, with around an event per month, slowly becoming worse until we were right in the thick of it before we knew what had hit us. Now, I've certainly not seen that yet, and what's happened in New Orleans is now calming down, and never looked really bad. Titor did claim that the worldline system (or something like that) means there could be a 2.5% or so difference between our experience and his, but even so, if he was right, there'll be a war, if he wasn't there won't.

He also said at one point that the Israeli-Arab conflict had something to do with this, but with Israel finally giving up Gaza, that's looking good right now. Iran might have something to say about this, of course, if America gets upset with somebody else that doesn't want to be friends having nuclear capacity, but hopefully that can be resolved.

So... for now, I'm still sceptical about Titor's predictions, but I won't be completely ignoring them for a few years yet.
