Great time! Without Armin, though, I don't think it would have been great, at least for me. Armin definitely owned it up, though :)
here's what I remember for a tracklist...
01. Mike Foyle vs. Signalrunners - Love Theme Dusk (Intro Mix)
02. Motorcycle - Around You
03. Way Out West - Killa (Orkidea Remix)
04. ID
05. Kuffdam & Plant - Summer Dream (Paul van Dyk Remix)
06. Dogzilla - Without You
07. Sting & The Police - Message in a Bottle (Sander Van Doorn remix)
08. Randy Katana - Play it Louder
09. Bart Claessen - Playmo
10. Purple Haze - Adrenalin
11. Armin van Buuren - Shivers (Alex M.O.R.P.H. redline dub?)
12. Armin van Buuren - Communication (? Mix)
encore
13. Armin van Buuren vs Tiesto - Yet Another Suburban Train
Updated...keep in mind that's what I remember, I know he at least played those tracks but some maybe be out of order...Feel free to correct me :) OMG how did I forget Summer Dream?!?!?1 |

| The Yet another day remix was a bootleg of tiesto's urban train vs yet another day, armin also played Communication. and some remix of message in the bottle. i haven't listened to armin in years, however, this is what i only know. hehe. Richie Hawtin was so good. blah. night was good til my friend got pulled over for speeding. the cop was being a jerk too. female cops, geez! |

Wasn't this Yet Another Suburban Train? |

| something like that, well i mean technically its surburban train with yet another day acapella, synced well i guess. nothing special to be honest haha. little raving kids were loving it though. and then everyone sang the lyrics like it was a walt disney sing along song. |

I'll be the first to say that Richie Hawtin blew me away! He played some deep, tribal, and almost minimal techno, it was awesome! I can't even imagine how that would sound in a club!
I'll post later. I just got home from a 3 hour drive. I'm surprised i'm alive! |

| okay, so i got there right at the end of halliwell's set and thought he was great, sorry i missed most of his set, he was rocking out behind the decks and everyone around me was dancing their asses off, which of course made a hot room even hotter, oh the sweat. then donald glaude came on and of course i have never seen him, like many djs that are out there(i will hopefully change that this year) and man what a treat. i love to see a dj enjoy themselves up there and interact with the crowd and boy did he ever not to mention the great songs he dropped. he was so cool and then at the end of his set when dj dan went on, donald is in the crowd dancing and talking to people, i went up to him and talked to him and he was the coolest cat ever, i liked dj dan's set as well and the last song he dropped was superb(of course i don't know the name of many of the songs so i won't even try) it had me jumping out of my skin. hawtin was different in a good way, and as lomeli mentioned a bit technoie, then chris came on, this dj i have actually seen 4 times and he had fun, maybe not his best set but i love him and enjoy his show everytime. as chris is finishing avb gets behind the decks, and let me just tell you, you couldn't sandblast the smile off my face!!!!:gsmile: 2 of my favorite djs behind the same decks for about 10 minutes!!!!!! it was almost surreal. then of course the trancegod does his thing and rocks everyone for 1 1/2 hours. i'm so glad i went, is was a great line up and we are so lucky to be living in southern california and have the talent that we do come through here. the candy ravers weren't so bad(except for that kid that alomst crushed neinerlove and i to death) and some of the outfits were insane. hey, who brought the baby and 3 year old to a rave???? then one of the best parts was meeting up with the ta's down front and partying with them. i had such a great time with you guys: miss julia, neinerlove, carrie, faded, hotdogwater, svgmethod, and meeting some i have never met before: kfrogger, godmadetrance, boomer and probably some more i can't remember but it was so great being there with you guys and partying and dancing and just having a great f@#king time. godmadetrance you were too cute and sorry we just met as everyone was leaving. neinerlove, sorry we missed our chance to have our pic with avb, next time girl. vip wasn't worth it at this event, not like independance, the lines were too long but they did have a real bathroom. okay, so all in all a great time, fantastic dj's and music and great people!:p |

Anyone have setlist for DJ Dan? He was really good last night. |

Last night was kind of sketchy! I felt like a candy raver kid lol. I even sat outside on the grass for a while, because there weren't any benches, and my legs were tired from dancing so much. I defenitely burned atleast 5,000 calories last night from dancing so hard.
The best sets of the night for me were Donald Glaude & Richie Hawtin.
Donald Glaude played some really sick techy housey tracks, and he was using the vocals to this one old skool raver song throught out his set... "put your hands up in the air, put your hands up in the air..".... i used to love that song like 7 yrs ago lol, so it was cool hearing those vocals again after so long. I drained myself out from his set, from dancing so much. I thought it was cool how he came out on the dance floor after his set and he was dancing with everyone. He is such a sweet man. :toothless
Richie Hawtin wasn't at his best, but he was still great. Actually, I was hoping he would play some twisted minimal techno like he normally does, but he played way harder than he normally would.
Armin was actually pretty good, for a trance dj. Wayyyyy better than Tiesto a couple weeks ago. He only played a few cheesey vocal songs (including that cheesey song he closed his set with). But, I liked that "SOS" song, and "adrenaline"... (thanks for the ID's mike ;))
I dont really remember much of Christopher Lawreneces set. Eddie Halliwell was not my cup of tea (from what I saw of him). And I didn't get to see much of dj dan's set.... i'm sure i didn't miss out on much.. lol
I enjoyed everyone's company that i hung out with last night :), but i honestly don't think i want to come out to rave events like this anymore, unless sasha or picotto or someone i really like was playing there lol. Just too many freaks at these places, and I feel too old to go to places like this... (sorry if that offends anyone) :( |

| man, there were way too many bright lights in the main tent... it was like the entire night was one long moment of truth. |
