I have a question for all the TA photographers out there (and I know there's quite a few!)
I have a Praktica MTL3 camera (along with some great accessories for it) but it desperately needs some work done on it before I can start taking pictures. Does anyone know a good place in Toronto that can fix it up for me? I'm not looking to spend TOO much money on this, but I would really like to get it working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

| Well Henry's is always good for photography but with that said in my personal opinion Henry's is a RIP OFF...unless you know someone there that will hook you up with a deal. I guess this isn't much of a help but...yeah. Hmmm... |

Perhaps this man can help you with a $90,000 camera lens!

I think that's an m42 lens screwmount camera, is it not? I don't know if these old bodies are worth fixing.
If so, i'd consider purchasing another 2nd hand M42 screwmount camera body (i.e. a Pentax Spotmatic series).. you can find them relatively cheap on Ebay (i've seen anywhere from $60-100 for stuff that looks decent). You can use your Praktica lenses on other M42 bodies I believe. |

Try Aden camera on Yonge & Dundas, Last time I was there for my Canon AE-1 they took good care of me and the price was pretty reasonable..

And they have a website ;) http://www.adencamera.com/
But they have a lot of complains about them too...though I've never used them still :)
